For those who arrive in Venice by ship
If you are lucky enough to get to Venice by sea, you can easily reach the city center by the private water shuttle service called ALILAGUNA going between the port (stazione marittina) and Saint Mark.
Stops are at Tronchetto, San Basilio, Zattere, Stazione marittima or Riva dei Sette Martiri, this latter in the Castello district.
